Akshay Kumar's movies are generally targeted to mass audience but this is not the case with Baby. Baby is not a typical masala entertainer and thus the collection from mass centers were not good on first day. The movie has below average occupancy in mass belts like U.P, M.P, Rajasthan etc. However, the movie has registered good numbers in multiplexes driven cities like Mumbai, Delhi/NCR and Bangalore.
The first weekend collection of Baby is less than Akshay's last two release Entertainment and Holiday. First Weekend day collection of Akshay Kumar last three releases.
Holiday : 41 Crores
Entertainment : 36.6 Crores
The Shaukeens : 15.75 Crores
Made on a big budget of around 80 crores, the movie has to do good business on coming days. The movie should have a decent opening week with collection of 60 crores in order to have any chance at domestic Box Office.
