Alone First Weekend Collection : Bipasha Basu's Alone has a below average opening weekend at domestic Box Office.
Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover's horror movie Alone was released this Friday along with Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene and Crazy Cukkad Family. Alone was the biggest of all releases and was expected to open decently at domestic Box Office but the movie failed to get good opening at domestic Box Office. After a poor opening day with collection of 3.5 crores, the movies wasn't able to pick up on Saturday and Sunday.
Released on around 1600 screens, the movie witnessed a below average opening weekend across the country. Directed by Bhushan Patel, the movie failed to cache on the hot chemistry of Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover.

The hype and buzz around the movie was good primitively because of the hot content and the sizzling chemistry of the lead pair.But. it looks like the hot chemistry of Bipasha and Karan failed to attract large audience to movie theatres.
Alone is a combo of sex and horror, much on the lines of Ragini MMS 2 and Raaz 3. Such movies are mainly targeted to mass centres and single screen audiences. Alone is performing in a similar way as low budget sex and horror movies usually perform at Box Office. The performance in multiplexes and urban centres is poor though single screens and mass centres have register decent Box Office numbers.
The movie collected around 3.5 Crores on its opening day which is poor considering that it was released on a good screen count of 1600 screens. On Saturday and Sunday, the movie showed feeble growth with collection of 3.8 Crores and 4.2 Crores.
