Roy was released last Friday along with MSG - Messenger of God start off well at domestic Box Office with opening day of 10.4 crores. The movie remains strong till opening weekend with collection of 28.68 crores.

The movie got a good opening primitively because of Ranbir Kapoor, who was absent from silver screen for almost one and half year. Ranbir was last seen in Besharam released in Oct 2013. The music of the movie has become quite popular among the youngsters which further provided the required boost to its Box Office opening.

The movie received poor reviews from critics with most of them reviewed it as a slow romantic thriller. The response from audience has been pathetic. Despite, poor reviews and WOM, Roy managed to have a decent opening week. With collection of 42 crores, the movie is now the second highest opening week grosser of 2015 after Baby. Baby collected 63.82 crores in its opening week at Box Office.

Made on a budget of around 45 crores, the movie needs another 2 crores to be in safe zone. It's really surprising to see that despite receiving such poor reviews, the movie may end up with above average status at Box Office. The movie may end up with lifetime collection of 50 crores which is good considering that the movie is a slow poison of sort for viewers.

Shamitabh 7th Day Collection : First Week Box Office Report

Shamitabh has a below average opening week at domestic Box Office. Shamitabh Starcast
After registering a poor start with collection of 3.5 crores on opening day, the movie did show decent growth on Saturday and Sunday with collection of 4.75 crores and 5.25 Crores. The real problem for the movie starts from weekdays when the collection goes on sliding down. The movie managed to collect only 5.3 crores from Monday to Thursday which is a poor sing for Amitabh Bachchan and R. Balki. The actor-director pair has delivered some successful movies like Paa, Cheeni Kum in past.

Shamitabh First Week Collection : Day-Wise Report

Shamitabh 1st Day Collection : 3.5 Crores
Shamitabh 2nd Day Collection : 4.75 Crores
Shamitabh 3rd Day Collection : 5.25 Crores
Shamitabh First Weekend Collection : 13.5 Crores
Shamitabh 4th Day Collection : 1.6 Crores

Shamitabh 7th Day Collection : 1.25 Crores
Shamitabh First Week Collection : 18.8 Crores
Shamitabh Total lifetime Collection : 18.8 Crores (Till first week)

The movie performed poorly in most parts of the country except few areas from Southern India where Dhanush and R. Balki enjoys good fan following.

The movie is made on a budget of around 40 crores. Considering the first week performance of the movie and two big releases ready for release this week, it seems Shamitabh will add to the list of flops in 2015. The movie should end up with lifetime collection of 25 crores. Verdict : Big Flop.

The movie was released yesterday on around 2500 screens registered below average occupancy in the morning shows. Morning shows has occupancy of around 25% throughout the country which is poor considering that Baby is one of the most anticipated movies of 2015.

However, the movie shows good jump in evening and late evening shows after receiving good WOM from public and critics. The movie got rave reviews from critics like Neeraj Pandeys' previous release and is expected to show decent growth on coming days.

Baby First Day Collection  : 9.3 crores (Confirmed)

Akshay Kumar's movies are generally targeted to mass audience but this is not the case with Baby. Baby is not a typical masala entertainer and thus the collection from mass centers were not good on first day. The movie has below average occupancy in mass belts like U.P, M.P, Rajasthan etc. However, the movie has registered good numbers in multiplexes driven cities like Mumbai, Delhi/NCR and Bangalore.

The opening day collection of Baby is less than Akshay's last few release like Entertainment and Holiday. Opening day collection of Akshay Kumar last three releases.

Holiday : 12.5 Crores
Entertainment : 11.5 Crores
The Shaukeens : 5 Crores

Made on a big budget of around 80 crores, the movie has to do good business on coming days. The movie should have a decent opening weekend with collection of 40+ crores in order to have any chance at domestic Box Office.

Stay tuned more Box Office reports.

The hype and buzz around the movie was good primitively because of the hot content and the sizzling chemistry of the lead pair.But. it looks like the hot chemistry of Bipasha and Karan failed to attract large audience to movie theatres.

Alone is a combo of sex and horror, much on the lines of Ragini MMS 2 and Raaz 3. Such movies are mainly targeted to mass centres and single screen audiences. Alone is performing in a similar way as low budget sex and horror movies usually perform at Box Office.
