As expected, Varun Dhawan's Badlapur registered a decent start at domestic Box Office. The movie registered an occupancy of around 25% in morning shows which further grows in evening and late night shows following superb reviews from critics and audience. As per early trends, the movie collected around 7 crores on its opening day at domestic Box Office.
The movie opened to terrific reviews from critics. The hype and buzz surrounding the movie was huge because of Varun Dhawan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui angst avatar. The response from critics and audience has been tremendous to say the least. The movie is loved by one and all specially because of superb performances by the start cast.

Badlapur was released on a decent screen count of around 1800 screens and considering the start it got at Box Office, we can expect a good weekend at domestic Box Office. With such positive reviews coming up, the movie will show decent growth at Box Office on Saturday and Sunday.
The movie is made on a small budget of 25 crores and is expected to recover to its investment by the end of first weekend only. It would be interesting to see if Badlapur emerges out as first super hit of 2015. The movie needs to collect 50 crores in its lifetime to become first super hit of 2015.
